Privacy Policy

Silver S.r.l. (hereinafter, “Silver”) provides users of Silver’s website (hereinafter, the “Site”, which can be visited at the address www.skiarea-valandrea.it) with the following information, in compliance with article 13 Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (or General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter “G.D.P.R.”) and subsequent national adaptation legislation (hereinafter, together with the G.D.P.R., referred to as the “Applicable Privacy Law”). During the consultation of the Site, information relating to users is collected, which constitutes personal data within the meaning of the Applicable Privacy Law.

This information is provided exclusively for the above-mentioned Site, and not for other sites that can be reached through links present on the same.

Data Controller

The data controller is Silver S.r.l., with registered office in Via Ostaria – 23041 Livigno (SO) e-mail: info@skiarea-valandrea.it

Types of data processed

Below are specified the data that are processed by Silver in case the user uses the Website.
The user assumes responsibility for any personal data of third parties entered or published on the Website, and guarantees that he/she has the right to communicate or disseminate such data – thus releasing Silver from any liability towards such third parties.

Personal data acquired automatically when visiting the Site

  • Browsing data. Silver automatically collects data about the device (PC, tablet, mobile phone or other mobile device) and connection used by the user, including, for example, IP address, date and time of access, hardware and software information, device event information, unique identifiers, crash data, and pages viewed by the user before or after using the Site.
  • Site Usage Data. Silver collects information about the ways in which you have used the Site, including, for example, the pages of the Site or other content you have viewed, the searches you have conducted, the third-party applications (Google Maps, in the “Homepage”, “Facilities” “Cabinet Rental” and “Contact Us” sections of the Site) on the Site that you use, and links to other sites and applications that you have clicked on.

Personal data provided directly by the user

a) Data required for online locker rental
  • Data provided by the user to rent lockers online. If the user intends to purchase and ship the items to his or her own or other domiciles, through the “locker rental” section, Silver acquires the billing details (name, surname, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail address).

These details are necessary to enable the user to rent lockers on the Site. If the user does not wish to provide this data, he/she will not be able to benefit from this service.
The user is informed that with regard to PayPal and credit cards, payments will take place on the relevant platforms. In these cases, Silver is not the data controller of the transaction data, as the processing is carried out by the payment platforms.

b) Optional data
  • Data provided through e-mail requests for information. If the user, in order to request information, explicitly and voluntarily sends e-mails to Silver’s addresses indicated on the Site, or uses the forms available under “Info and reservations” in the “Ski school” section and under “We reply” in the “Contacts” section, Silver acquires the e-mail address and any personal data of the user (and/or third parties) entered in the text of the electronic communication, as well as – for the “Info and Reservations” and “We reply” forms – the name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number and any personal data of the user (and/or third parties) entered in the text of the request.

Purpose of processing

User data is processed:

  • to operate, measure, improve and keep secure the Site and the services provided through it;

Pursue Silver’s legitimate interests in such a way that these interests do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms

User data is processed:

  • to identify and solve problems you encounter when using the Site (e.g. blocked or non-functioning pages).

These processing operations protect Silver’s interest in keeping the Site functional and efficient. Moreover, they do not violate the user’s fundamental rights and freedoms, as they are foreseeable and widespread processing operations on each site. Moreover, these processing operations also benefit the user himself, allowing the Site to continue to function.

This period, in any case, cannot exceed 10 years from the collection.
Your personal data may be retained for longer periods than the above only if this is necessary for Silver to fulfill its legal obligations or to protect a right in court.
